| In July I went fishing and camping with my
fishing buddy's to Nicklen Lake for about one week. Upon arriving there I met my
old friend Bill Dennis, owner of
Nicklen Lake Resort
and Isodore Borgeaud, owner and Chef of the
Isidore's Cuisine on Main St. restaurant (located on Silver Star Mountain)
and his son Dominick and Chef Leonard Cloutier
from
Silver Star Mountain. Chef Leonard prepared gourmet meals everyday on the barbeque consisting of elk and venison, chicken, beef, vegetables, salads. Wanda ( bill's wife) made great stirs fry's. What Unbelievable Meals everyday it was! Man!...Can Leonard cook !!! Great Food... Great Friends ..Now that was a Great camping trip!! There was a campfire ban on due to forest fires ....sigh...but it was ok without one but sure missed it that's what makes camping fun to stare into the fire...lol....cave man tv. The pictures are from day by day of what The Wild Chef made and the fish they caught. My wife Mardi came up there on her days off from work. And my grandson Ian was there fishing from the shoreline. |
